With opening weekend under our belt and softball season getting kicked into high gear there has already been a Top 25 list released. Washington a consistent flame in the WCWS tournament has two players climbing to the Top 2, Gabby Plain and Sis Bates, are two highly favored players for this upcoming season.

Hofstra Softball has an underdog mentality for the upcoming season. Being ranked sixth in the Colonial Athletic Association Preseason polls the team is fired up and ready to begin their season at Stanford this Friday, February 14. Hofstra Softball will take on Drake and Stanford and will travel to FAU, Liberty, and many more places during the 2020 season.

Women in Sports Day has recently been all around the news and two young women from Medway High School attended an event for recognition. It is inspiring to see so many young women involved!

Liberty Softball is on a mission this year. Reminising on their win against ranked South Carolina last year propels and motivates them for the upcoming season. Liberty has big plans for the 2020 season and plans to be heard by competitors and make their mark this year.

St. Pete Clearwater Invitational has 12 out of 16 participating teams ranked by the NCAA. Should be amazing competition in the Florida area. This is one of the biggest tournaments of the year filled to the brim with talented athletes, so make sure to tune in and watch some action packed games.

Hofstra Softball is prepared for battle and will be traveling to Palo Alta, California to take on Drake and Stanford at Stanford. The team is fired up and ready to travel this upcoming Thursday.

An outstanding play made by Tennessee Volunteers is kept out of the NCAA Top 5 of the weekend. What do you think about it?

Women in Sports have been marginally ignored, and now women are slowly coming into the light in predominantly male focused platforms.
